The Construction Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of marine construction projects ensuring technical excellence financial control and client satisfaction. The role involves supporting the Resident Engineer/Team Leader in resolving project challenges providing leadership to the construction team and ensuring adherence to project schedules budgets and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing marine construction projects particularly jetties and possess a deep understanding of construction methodologies planning and quality assurance.
- Assisting and supporting Resident Engineer/Team Leader in resolving project issues.
- Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies.
- Establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.
- Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors including understanding of current business trends.
- Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
- May have budget responsibilities.
- Erroneous decision or failure to achieve results adds to costs and may impact short-term goals of organization.
- Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical financial and client satisfaction.
- Accountable for the development coordination and execution of the planning design and/or construction management activities and personnel under individuals direction on a day-to-day
- Prepare and present progress reports ensuring transparency and alignment with client expectations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experience managing marine construction projects with a strong preference for experience in jetty construction.
