Heavy Duty Porter- EVSCustodian

The Heavy Duty Porter - EVS/Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness sanitation and overall appearance of assigned facilities. This role involves performing a wide range of cleaning and maintenance tasks from routine daily cleaning to specialized detail work while ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and operated safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain all public areas including hallways lobbies stairways locker rooms and other assigned spaces

Perform detailed cleaning tasks such as high dusting carpet shampooing floor stripping and specialized surface care

Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including stripping machines carpet shampooers and floor sweepers with regular preventative maintenance

Remove trash debris and waste materials from all assigned areas using appropriate disposal methods

Clean carpets rugs and upholstered furniture using vacuum cleaners brooms and shampoo machines

Perform elevated cleaning tasks including working from 10-foot ladders to clean elevator tracks light fixtures and high-reach areas

Handle biohazard and biochemical material cleanup in accordance with safety protocols and regulations

Demonstrate finger dexterity and attention to detail in all cleaning tasks

Regularly lift push and pull up to 50 pounds and operate equipment requiring up to 75 pounds of force

Stand for extended periods while performing assigned duties

Complete additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications :

Minimum of two (2) years cleaning experience preferred; knowledge of carpet and floor care chemicals and equipment. Must be able to push pull and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations
