AECOM Technical Services Inc. is seeking a Bridge Inspection Engineering in Phoenix AZ.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for bridge inspection and design related tasks in accordance with the department of transportation and regional and municipal standards
- Prepare inspection reports load ratings and rehabilitation recommendations in accordance with industry standards
- Evaluate structural integrity and document deficiencies deterioration and maintenance needs through detailed reports sketches and photographs
- Conduct field inspections of bridges and other transportation structures following federal and other relevant regulations
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and best practices
- Coordinate with agencies to obtain permits for inspections
- Telecommuting permitted up to 4 days per week
- Up to 40% domestic travel required
Qualifications :
Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Infrastructure Engineering or a related field of study and 1 year of experience as a Bridge Inspection team member or a related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
- Understanding of steel and concrete design
- SAP2000
- CSiBridge
- AutoCAD or Microstation
- Construction inspection and quality assurance for road and infrastructure construction projects
- Retaining wall design
- Transportation engineering including estimation
- MS Office Suite including Excel and Word
