Receptionist
Mission
Reporting to onsite Management the Receptionist is responsible for responding to all incoming calls greeting and directing visitors and answering inquiries in a positive and professional manner that reflects the values of Extendicare.
Key Responsibilities
Answer all incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a positive professional manner
Redirect calls as appropriate and take clear concise messages when needed
Greet assist and direct all visitors
Pick up and sort internal mail
Stamp deliver and maintain mail machine for external mail
Prepare packages and arrange courier pick-up
Coordinate meeting room schedules and bookings
Update phone lists and distribution lists
Maintain a clean safe fully stocked and well-organized reception area
Assist with small administrative projects (e.g. labels bulk mailing)
Complete other duties as assigned
Uphold and promote Extendicares values ethics morality and integrity as outlined in the Code of Conduct
Qualifications
Aboveaverage interpersonal oral and written communication skills
Previous reception experience is an asset
Professional and polished telephone manner
Ability to multitask work under pressure and meet deadlines
Highly organized and detail oriented
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
