Your mission

As our Test Automation Engineer you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our software across one of our core product lines such asFinagoMepcoor ourfinancial managementproductsFinagoOffice Busy Control or Payday. Depending on the product you join you will work with modern test automation technologies like Robot Framework Playwright TypeScript React and C# .NET and contribute across the entire testing lifecycle from manual test design to scalable test automation.

You will become part of ourgrowing17personFinagoKL team which includes roles such as Test Leads Software Developers and Test Automation in close collaboration with colleagues across our Nordic offices in Finland Sweden and Norwayoperatingas one distributed engineering this role you will act as a proactive quality ambassador helping shape how features are tested and delivered while ensuring our products meet thehigh standardsour customers expect.

Your key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Designingandmaintainingautomatedtestsuites and test cases

• Planningautomationworkand contributing to regression testing

• Optimizingautomated test execution in CI/CD pipelines

• Analyzing test results and driving continuous quality improvements

• Acting as the teams quality owner andparticipatingin Scrum ceremonies

• Contributing as a Test Automation Expert in workshops

• Keeping documentation up to date andcollaboratingacross a distributed team

This is a permanent fulltimeand hybrid modelpositionlocatedin Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.Youllworkwith modern automation frameworks and tools while influencing the quality practices of this roleyoullhave the opportunity to shape test automation approaches collaborate with experienced engineering teams and contribute to impactful software used bytensof thousands of customers.

• You have experience designing and implementingmodernautomationsuites().

• You write clean and maintainablecodeinTypeScript/JavaScript Java C#orsimilar.

• You are comfortable integratingautomatedtestsinto CI/CD pipelines and working with modern testing methodologies.

• You cananalysetest resultsidentifyrisks and drive continuous quality improvements.

• You work independently and proactively in a distributed engineering environment.

• You communicatefluentlyin English and collaborate effectively withcrossfunctionalteams across multiple countries.

• You bring a structuredsolutionorientedmindset and a genuine commitment tobuildinghighqualitysoftware.
