What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of lobbies ATM areas parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards.
- Respond to alarms suspicious activity disturbances and other incidents in a calm problem-solving manner initiating notifications to site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification monitoring visitor activity and documenting entries and exits per site policy.
- Operate within all applicable armed post requirements including carrying assigned equipment following use-of-force guidelines and completing timely detailed reports and/or incident documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Have at least 1 years of armed security-related and/or law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card/license.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma/GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
