Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Dallas TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and respond to situations with professionalism and clear communication. This is a driving post so you will use a company vehicle to conduct routine patrols and complete reports. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to authorized patrons employees and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
- Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of facilities retail areas and surrounding perimeter to help to deter prohibited activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Control access by verifying identification and/or credentials monitoring entry and exit points and directing visitors according to post orders and government facility requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating with site representatives and/or local law enforcement as directed.
- Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports communicate observations to supervision and follow all weapon handling use of force and required training and/or qualification standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have at least 1 years of security-related experience.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
