Essential Responsibilities:
Supervise a crew of Equipment Operators andLabourers
Responsible for thesafety of the crew workenvironmentandbasic maintenance ofequipment
Overall compliance of Ledcors health safety and environmental standards as well as occupational health and safety regulations daily
Demonstrates ability to lead teams effectively in the day-to-day execution of the work by managing resources equipment andavailablelabour
Completes daily paperwork and conduct daily toolbox talks
Coordinates and communicates with the other Forepersonsand Supervision to ensure the correct sequencing of operations
Effective organizational and planning skills; proven experience organizing workloads managing multiple priorities and working with multiple deadlines
Requirements:
Minimum3 years of experience in a supervisory role
A background in operating equipment(excavator loaderdozerskid steer); with experience and knowledge in construction andmajor infrastructure projects is an asset
Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
CSTS Ground Disturbance201 Elevated Work platformand Silica Awareness(trainingprovided)
Mustpossessa validClass 5 license and ability to provide a clean 3-year drivers abstract
Strong communicationand interpersonal skills
Work Conditions:
Monday to Friday 10 hours per day with potential overtime
Work in all weather conditions year-round and willing to lend a hand where neededas a working Foreperson
