We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Clerk to support our GP Practice with Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) data management and auditing. The successful candidate will assist in monitoring clinical performance ensuring accurate coding and supporting the practice team in achieving QOF targets.
Main Responsibilities
Assist with the collection monitoring and auditing of QOF data.
Run clinical system searches to identify patients requiring review or recall.
Support clinicians in ensuring accurate clinical coding and data entry.
Monitor QOF indicators and highlight areas requiring improvement.
Prepare reports for practice management and clinical staff.
Liaise with administrative and clinical teams to ensure patient records are up to date.
Support patient recall programmes and follow-up where required.
Requirements
Experience working in a GP Practice or healthcare setting preferred.
Knowledge of QOF processes and clinical coding desirable.
Familiarity with GP clinical systems (SystmOne) is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
Good communication and ability to work within a team.
Competent with Microsoft Office especially Excel.
Desirable Skills
Previous experience in data quality clinical audits or healthcare administration.
Understanding of NHS reporting frameworks.
Additional Requirements
Full UK driving license (for travel between sites if needed).
Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of primary care.
