Job Summary
TITLE: Groundsperson - Student - 40 hours per week
DEPARTMENT: Facility Services
REPORTS TO: Supervisor - Grounds / Fleet Operations
WAGE: Effective July 1 2024 Rate $20.08

The summer work term is May 4 - August 28 2026
Successful candidates will be expected to commit to this time period.
40 hours per week -7:00 am 3:30 pm Monday to Friday
Required Skills & Abilities
The ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
Good interpersonal skills and communication
Enthusiastic and positive attitude
Sufficient strength and physical ability to perform labouring tasks
Ability to use hand and power tools
Duties
Assisting others in various tasks related to the maintenance of grounds and landscape work including mowing and trimming grass.
Requirements
Students must be attending an educational institution as a full time student during the 2025/26 academic year. Full time means 3 or more courses for each semester.
1. A program of two or more years duration which leads to a recognized diploma or degree
2. Valid BC Class 5 drivers licence (Preferred)
