The Role: Leading the PeakJet Evolution

We are looking for a C# Developer to take a lead role in the modernization of PeakJet a premium booking and flight management platform for business jets (an mp venture backed by airline industry veterans).

Your mission is to handle the architectural evolution of the platform migrating it from a legacy Virto Commerce v2 setup to a modern v3 (.NET 8) ecosystem. This isnt just a maintenance gig; its a refactoring of complex logic for seat booking and auxiliary services in the high-stakes world of private aviation.

• Polyglot Mindset: Deeply skilled in C# AND at least one other backend language (Python Go etc.).

• Experienced: 5 years of professional software development experience.

• AI-Native: Expert at using AI coding tools (Cursor Copilot etc.) to accelerate delivery.

Your Responsibilities

• Architectural Migration: Lead the technical transition of the PeakJet backend to the modern Virto Commerce v3 framework.

• Core Module Refactoring: Rebuild and optimize custom flight-related modules specifically for Seat Booking and Auxiliary Services.

• Engineering Excellence: Maintain and extend modular architectures ensuring high performance and scalability.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with our CTO (Silvan) and external airline executives to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• AI Productivity: Leverage AI tools to maintain high code quality and streamline development workflows.

Requirements - Hard Skills

• C# Mastery: Strong portfolio projects specifically Core / versions.

• Virto Commerce: Direct experience with Virto Commerce (v2 or v3) is a major plus.

• Web API & Backend: Expertise in Core and building robust scalable APIs.

• Data & Migrations: Solid experience with relational databases (SQL Server PostgreSQL) and complex data migrations.

• DevOps: Proficiency with Git workflows and containerization using Docker.

• Pragmatic Mindset: Ability to balance perfect code with the need to ship and scale a business.

• Location: Hybrid role based in Warsaw.
