Job Summary

As the General Manager Strategy & Enablementyoulldrive HBFs enterprise strategy turning insight into direction direction into investment and investment into measurable closely with the Chief Commercial Officer Executive Committee and Board to define where HBF is heading why it matters and how we get there.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officeryoulllead a team across enterprise strategy portfolio managementcustomer experience & designdelivery governance and changeensuring strategy and execution are tightly connected prioritised and continuously refined in line with market signals member needs and organisational capability.

Your daytoday as GM Strategy & Enablement
Lead HBFs enterprise strategy:Determinestrategic direction using market insights competitive analysis regulatorytrendsand member behaviour patternsshapingourstrategyand ensuring organisational alignment at every level.
Lead a highperforming multidisciplinary team:Guide a large team of specialists across strategy portfoliocustomer experience and design business developmentdeliveryand change cultivating a culture of clarityalignmentand forwardthinking execution.
Bring Member Insights to ourInitiatives:Lead the Customer Experience & Design teams whobring the voice of the member to our initiativesacross HBF.
Turn strategy into investment:Run portfolio prioritisation across the Change Engine ensuring the right initiatives investments and resources are sequenced and funded to deliver meaningful value.
Drive corporate development & growth:Oversee the endtoend M&A pipelinefrom target identification and due diligence to valuation dealstructuringand integration planningsupporting HBFs growth ambitions with disciplined commercial and strategic judgement.
Orchestrate execution at scale:Own delivery governance andoperatingrhythms ensuring OKRs are cleartribes are aligned dependencies are managed and risks are addressed proactively tomaintainmomentum and impact.
Build strategic visibility for the Board &ExCo:Produce integrated reporting that connects strategy portfolio performance deliveryhealthand value realisationgivingourleadersa single sourceof truth for decisionmaking.

About you
Yourea seasoned strategic leader who thrives at the intersection of strategyinvestmentand operating at Executive and Board level distilling complex information into understandable recommendations while shaping decisions that affect the future of HBF.

Youllbring:

Previousexperience leading enterprise strategy in complex organisations

Strength in scenario modelling market analysis & strategic options development

Experience in M&A evaluation corporatedevelopmentand integration planning

Strong portfolio management capability across prioritisationinvestmentand value measurement

Passion for member experience and putting our members at the centre of everything we do

Leadership experience spanning large multidisciplinary teams with exceptional communication skills and the ability to simplify influence and inspire at every level

Commercial acumen that links investment to measurable outcomes
