Technical Skills:High proficiency in ERP systems (SAP MM) MS Excel and procurement software.
Industry Knowledge:In-depth knowledge of raw material sourcing (iron ore coal coke scrap) logistics EXIM (export-import) documentation and inventory control.
Functional Skills:Strong negotiation analytical and communication skills with a focus on cost-saving strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing:Managing the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials and consumables to ensure uninterrupted production.
Vendor Management:Identifying evaluating and negotiating with suppliers to secure the best prices and delivery schedules.
Market Intelligence:Monitoring industry trends price fluctuations and market conditions to minimize costs.
Compliance:Ensuring compliance with company procurement policies statutory regulations and quality standards.
Reporting:Preparing MIS reports on inventory expenditure and purchasing activities.

Typical Compensation (Raipur/Bhilai Region)
