At PwC our Corporate Accounting Services division assists businesses with complex financial reporting and compliance. We provide expert advice and guidance on preparing and reviewing financial statements ensuring adherence to accounting standards (e.g. GAAP IFRS) and relevant regulations. Our services encompass the full accounting cycle including reporting statutory financial statements (SFS) and audit assistance using EPp. We are dedicated to helping our clients optimize their financial positions through comprehensive strategies and meticulous attention to detail.

Job Title: Accounting and Reporting Associate

Department : Corporate Accounting Services

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze classify and code financial transactions according to the chart of accounts from appropriate supporting documents adhering to Egyptian accounting standards.
Record financial transactions into Microsoft NAV or SAP system.
Analyze and classify accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions and prepare the aging of their balances.
Maintain a register of fixed assets to account for ongoing acquisition and disposal of fixed assets.
Prepare monthly bank and cash reconciliations.
Provide analysis of various elements of costs and revenues.
Prepare monthly trial balance.
Prepare the monthly profit and loss statement as well as the statement of financial position.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field.
1 year of experience in accounting
familiar with Microsoft NAV or SAP systems.
Hold IFRS CMA CPA or partial qualifications are an asset.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
