Job Summary

Overview

The Maintenance Technicianis responsible forperforming preventive maintenance troubleshooting repair and general upkeep of manufacturing equipment facility systems and support infrastructure. This role works under the direction of the Facilities and Manufacturing Maintenance Lead and supports safe efficient and reliable plant operations through hands-on maintenance activitiestimelyresponse to equipment issues and adherence to company safety and maintenance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive routine and emergency maintenance on production equipment machinery and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations.

  • Troubleshoot diagnose repair and replace mechanical electrical pneumatic hydraulic and other system components as needed to minimize downtime.

  • Inspect equipment and facility systemsidentifywear or potential failures and communicate issues requiring corrective action or follow-up.

  • Complete assigned work orders maintenance schedules repair records and related documentation accurately andin a timely manner.

  • Support installation setup relocation startup and general upkeep of machinery tools building systems andmaintenancework areas.

  • Use hand tools power tools meters diagnostic equipment and maintenance-related systems safely and effectively.

  • Follow all safety procedures including lockout/tagout PPE requirements and safe work practices whilemaintaininga clean and organized work area.

  • Work closely with the Maintenance Lead production personnel contractors and other departments to support equipment reliability continuous improvement and overall plant performance.

  • Assistwith spare parts maintenance supplies and inventory as needed.

  • Performallother related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • RequiresHSdiploma plus one year (1) of technical school OR equivalent job experience in a manufacturing maintenance position preferred.

  • Valid Drivers License

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment and facility-related systems.

  • Ability to read and follow manuals work instructions diagrams and basic blueprints.

  • Experience using hand tools power tools measuring devices and diagnostic equipment.

  • Basic computer skills for work orders maintenance tracking or documentation are preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and as part of a team.

  • Good communicationskills and willingness to take direction from leadership.

  • Ability to prioritize work and respond to changing production needs.

  • Willingness to work overtime flexibleschedules oremergency call-ins as needed.

  • Ability to stand walk bend lift climb and work in an industrial environment for extended periods.
