JOB SUMMARY:

The Cybersecurity EngineeringLeadis responsible forprovidingtechnicalleadershipto thecybersecurityteam working and supporting the teamto design implement andmaintainrobust security solutions that protect the organizations infrastructure applications and data. This role combines technicalexpertisewith leadership skills to ensure security initiatives align with businessobjectivesand regulatory requirements.

This role is recognized as a subject matter expert in the work area.Manageslarge projects or processespoliciesand standards under limited supervision. Coachesreviewsand delegates worktojunior employees. Problems faced may be difficult and often complex.Demonstrates integrityaccountabilityand transparency; upholds BKV standardsvaluesandculture.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Typical job responsibilities of theCybersecurityEngineeringLeadinclude:

• Serve astechnicalSubject Matter Expert (SME) over the design implementation and support of cybersecuritycontrolstools technologies and configurationsacross BKV networks systems and applications.

• Key point of contacttothe infrastructure team to support all cybersecurity tools technologies and configurations on BKV workstations and servers.

• Overseethe technicaldesignimplementationand supportofall network firewalls anti-virusand malware protections.

• Oversee the technical design implementation and support ofallcybersecurityowned and managednetworks systems and applications.

• Perform cybersecurity investigations as requested by the Sr. Director of Cybersecurity and Human Resources.

• Technical lead tomanageandperformprojectobjectivesandtasks for the implementation and change of cybersecurity tools technologies and configurations.

• Supportparticipateandownthe performance ofcontrols andcompliance activities.

• Leadand overseethe implementation and support of processes and technologies over identity and access management to align BKV systems and personnel access with the persons job responsibilities andappropriate businessdefined separation of duties requirements.

• Work closely with the Security Operations Center leading the processes and closure ofcybersecurity related vulnerabilitiesresponding to cybersecurity eventstuning and performance of the SIEM and any other relatedSOCidentifiedticketsor incidents.

• Manageand supportincident response plansprocesses and remediationsto aid in ensuring cybersecurity incidents are handledin a prompt andtimelymanner

• Investigate root cause of potential cybersecurity incidents and recommend actions to the Sr. Director of Cybersecurity.

• As needed manage oversee and support cybersecurity resources andconsultants.

• Ensure change management communications and training are provided when cybersecurity changes are made to the BKV environment.

• Manage cybersecurity related awareness training and phishing campaigns are kicked off and provided to BKV personnel.

• Provideinputsinto cybersecurity metrics and dashboards to BKV leadership.

• Set prioritiesallocateresources and ensuretimelydelivery ofcybersecurity projects.

• Ensure partnershipcollaboration and communicationwith businesspersonnelto ensure cybersecurity controls are in alignment with businessobjectivesinitiatives.

• Write and proposechanges to ITand cybersecuritypoliciesandprocesses.

• Aid and support ensuring compliance (SOX NERCetc.) requirements are consistently followed and met across the organization.

• Other responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Understanding of natural gas industry standards market trends emergingissuesand regulatoryrequirements.

• Strong knowledge of security technologies (firewalls IDS/IPS endpoint protection cloud security).

• Experience withcloud security for energy platforms and secure remote access for field operations.

• Ability to manage vendor relationships and security audits for third-party contractors.

• Expertisein OT security ICS/SCADA systems and network segmentation.

• Familiarity with oil and gas operational processes and safety-critical systems.

• Strong knowledge of security technologies (firewalls IDS/IPS endpoint protection SIEM).

• Familiarity with compliance standards such as SOX and NERC CIP.

• Leadership skillsincludingan advanced ability to work cross-departmentally develop others and influence the organization to achieveresults.

• Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Office and job-related applications. Uses understanding of digital concepts to create basic digitaltools.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• BS or BA in a Technical related field

• Relevant certifications (CISSP CISM GICSPCISAor equivalent) preferred

• Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of relevanttechnicalengineeringexperiencein cybersecurity.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS

• This positioncanbelocated inDenver CO at BKV HeadquartersBKVs Fort Worth Texas office. Other locations may be considered.

• Remoteand hybridwork will be considered.

• Some travel up to (20%) may befor the installation of cybersecurity hardware and software.

Work Environment:

• Office-based environment with collaborative workspaces;may occasionally be exposed to moderate noise levels.
