Transportation Engineering Intern

AECOM is looking for a Transportation Engineering Intern interested in joining a premier engineering company with the potential to gain experience on a variety of challenging transportation projects that include work within the highway bridge mass transit and airport industries.

This position is expected to begin in May 2026.

The selected intern will be assigned to the Philadelphia or Conshohocken Office. 

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with preliminary to final design calculations and plan development reviewing of field information possible field inspection of existing
• facilities and other work consistent with the duties of an entry level engineer.
• Enthusiastic individuals eager to face new challenges and take on personal responsibilities are best qualified to meet the demands of this work.
• An intern is expected to be able to apply technical training to perform basic calculations work well in a team setting and be willing to work diligently to learn new skills.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in architecture planning engineering or construction management.
• Must have completed one year of study in a qualified program.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Capability in using AutoCAD and/or Bentley CAD drafting software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Additional Information :

• Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.
• This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in-office work in Pennsylvania.  The selected candidate must be available to work in Pennsylvania on a scheduled basis.
• Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
