Job Summary

Our client is looking for a Maths Teacher to join a highly successful independent school in Sheffield. This is a full-time position to begin in April 2026 teaching across KS3KS5 (GCSE and A-Level Mathematics).

Maths Teacher required on a full-time basis

The successful Maths Teacher will join a well-established Mathematics faculty working in dedicated classrooms equipped with digital learning resources and interactive technology. Mathematics is consistently one of the schools strongest subjects with recent results showing 81% of pupils achieving grades 79 at GCSE and 88% A*B at A-Level. Pupils are highly engaged and the department encourages creative teaching approaches and enrichment opportunities including national maths competitions and extension programmes.

Experience and Qualifications

Qualified Maths Teacher with QTS (PGCE QTLS or equivalent considered)
Strong subject knowledge at GCSE and A-Level Mathematics
Ability to inspire pupils with a passion for problem-solving and logical thinking
Committed enthusiastic and organised with excellent classroom practice
Legal right to work within the UK
