Purpose of the Role
BGIS is seeking an experienced Regional Facilities Manager to oversee the delivery of integrated facilities management services across a large portfolio of essential government infrastructure throughout Southern NSW. Reporting directly to the Contract Manager you will work collaboratively with both client and BGIS teams to ensure all contractual safety and operational standards are met and exceeded.
The ideal candidate will be an organised proactive professional with excellent stakeholder communication skills a flexible approach to regional travel and a commitment to high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver integrated facilities services in Southern NSW.
- Conduct annual inspections identify issues and ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders vendors and site contacts.
- Monitor compliance with contract obligations and health & safety regulations.
- Support operational improvements and participate in ongoing performance reporting.
Education Experience & Skills
Essential:
- Proven experience in facilities management across multiple sites or a large portfolio.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with safety and compliance standards.
- Ability to plan prioritise and manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrated strength in administration data management and reporting with advanced Microsoft Excel capability
Desirable:
- Previous experience working with government-related contracts.
- Trade engineering or property qualifications.
- Knowledge of asset and contractor management best practices.
Workplace Flexibility
To support your growth this position has a Flexible Working Arrangement with regular travel to sites across Southern NSW. Regular field presence is required for inspections and relationship management.
