The Polysomnographic Technician assists in conducting sleep studies and related procedures under the supervision of a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or physician. This role focuses on patient preparation equipment setup and basic monitoring to ensure accurate data collection and patient safety.Position Details:
Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Preferred Education: Collegiate coursework in health sciences.
Licensure/Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months of hire.
Other: Skills Knowledge and Abilities: Following completion of PSG Technician training checklist requirements the PSG Tech must possess sufficient demonstrable technical knowledge and acquired competencies to work with intermittent supervision.
