You will be contacted directly by the facility after applying to this Health Physicians and Carteret Health Care are partnering together to expand and are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Acute Care or Physician Assistant for a unique role providing care for newborn infants and pediatric patients at Carteret Health Care in Morehead City NC with a monthly on-site rotation at ECU Health Maynard Childrens Hospital in Greenville NC for high-risk resuscitation skills and competency maintenance. Highlights include:Employment by ECU Health PhysiciansHospital privileges at Carteret Hospital and the ECU Health Maynard Childrens Hospital Support and continuous competency training provided by Maynard Childrens Hospital at ECU Health Medical CenterAverage of 12 x 24 hour shifts per month with return to the Childrens Hospital for continued competency for an average of 24 hours per quarterClinical responsibilities when providing coverage will include rounding and coordination of care from admission to discharge for all newborn patients and attendance all at risk deliveries and participation in the resuscitation stabilization and transfer of critically ill neonates as neededTransfer support provided by ECU Health Medical CenterCompetitive Compensation and Comprehensive Benefits to include: Administrative Stipend Relocation PTO Malpractice/Tail Coverage 401k matching/457 Medical Dental & Vision Disability & Life Insurance.
