Responsibilities
Business Leadership & Strategy
- Lead the overall strategy and execution of the business unit ensuring alignment with company goals and growth objectives.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth operational efficiency and market expansion.
- Identify new opportunities within the seafood processing and automation markets including product innovation and new customer segments.
- Monitor industry trends competitive landscape and customer needs to inform business strategy.
Financial & P&L Management
- Own full P&L responsibility for the business unit including revenue cost management and profitability.
- Develop and manage annual operating plans budgets and financial forecasts.
- Drive margin improvement through operational efficiency cost control and pricing strategy.
- Track performance metrics and ensure financial targets are consistently achieved.
Operations & Manufacturing
- Oversee manufacturing engineering supply chain quality and service operations.
- Ensure efficient production processes on-time delivery and high product quality standards.
- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations safety standards and quality requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement across all areas of the business including manufacturing efficiency supply chain performance and service delivery.
Sales & Customer Engagement
- Partner with commercial teams to drive sales growth and strengthen customer relationships.
- Support key customer engagements and strategic accounts.
- Ensure alignment between engineering operations and commercial teams to deliver customized automation solutions.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and implement improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.
Leadership & Talent Development
- Build and lead a high-performing leadership team across engineering manufacturing sales and operations.
- Foster a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Develop leadership capabilities within the organization and support talent development and succession planning.
- Promote a safe inclusive and high-performance workplace environment.
Required qualifications
Education
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Operations Management or related field required
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
Experience
- 10 years of progressive leadership experience in industrial manufacturing automation or capital equipment environments
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams including engineering operations and sales
- Experience in food processing equipment industrial automation or related manufacturing sectors strongly preferred
- Proven success managing P&L and driving business growth
