Schedule: Monday to Friday overlap with EST working hours

About the Role
You will own the routine bookkeeping work that keeps the numbers accurate: reconciliations transaction coding record maintenance and support for month-end close. This role is a good fit for someone who likes clean books steady process and catching errors before they become bigger problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger and keep daily financial transactions posted correctly.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable follow-up.
- Reconcile bank credit card and key balance sheet accounts on schedule.
- Review transactions for accuracy supporting documentation and coding consistency.
- Help prepare reports and close support materials for leadership or the external accountant.
- Keep vendor records internal files and audit trails organized.
Who You Are
- You have prior bookkeeping experience for a US business accounting firm or multi-entity environment.
- You are comfortable working inside QuickBooks and can move through the software without guessing.
- You notice mismatches missing support and duplicate entries quickly.
- You are organized enough to keep recurring tasks on schedule every month.
- Your written English is strong enough to ask good follow-up questions and explain bookkeeping issues clearly.
Bonus Points
- Experience with multi-entity bookkeeping.
- Experience supporting e-commerce or service businesses.
- Experience with Gusto or related finance tools.

First 90 Days:
- The chart of accounts reconciliations and recurring tasks are under control instead of being pieced together at month-end.
- You know where the common bookkeeping breaks happen in this business and catch them early.
- Leadership can ask basic financial questions without waiting for a scramble to clean up the books first.
Ongoing:
- The books stay current and review-ready.
- Month-end is less painful because transactions are coded correctly throughout the month.
- The team spends less time fixing bookkeeping mistakes and more time using the numbers.
