Job Summary
VP of Engineering
Full-Time On-Site Philadelphia & South Jersey AreaRole Summary
Our client is seeking a VP Engineering to help scale a modern automation- and fintech-enabled platform in a highly regulated operating environment. This role is centered on software engineering execution product delivery and technical leadership rather than traditional infrastructure administration.This leader will guide engineering teams working across data integration migration analytics CRM and workflow platforms and customer-facing experiences. The mandate is to use software development as a lever for growth quality compliance and operational efficiency.
What This Leader Will Own
Software engineering leadership across business-critical platforms with emphasis on data integration migrations analytics pipelines workflow automation and customer-facing experiences.Hands-on technical oversight of architecture delivery quality code quality observability and release readiness.
Partnership with Product Compliance Operations and Client Success to translate business needs into practical engineering plans and reliable releases.
Design and evolution of CRM case and workflow portal and collections-related platforms that support growth compliance and operational efficiency.
Build-versus-buy decisions for software and platforms with a bias toward building what differentiates the business and buying commodity capabilities.
Technical hiring team calibration and operating rhythm for an engineering organization expected to ship with clarity and discipline.
Core Technical Focus
Data integration ETL and ELT migration programs and analytics pipelines.Practical familiarity with layered data models including bronze silver and gold schemas data warehousing BI and reporting architecture.
API-driven and event-driven integration patterns across internal and client systems.
Production software delivery from requirements through design implementation testing monitoring and post-release support.
Recent technical decision-making and the ability to challenge architecture design choices and engineering tradeoffs.
Preferred Background
Current or recent Director Senior Director or VP-level engineering leader in an active software delivery environment.Recent experience as a software engineer solutions architect or technical engineering manager within the last 5 to 10 years.
Leadership experience across integration migration data pipelines data platforms and analytics-heavy applications.
Background in a regulated industry such as healthcare financial services insurance payments or a similar environment.
Experience in a smaller company high-growth or transformation setting where speed pragmatism and resourcefulness matter.

The ability to stay close enough to the work to coach engineers challenge technical details and connect software decisions to business outcomes.A track record of improving engineering quality through clearer standards better prioritization stronger observability and more predictable releases.

Location and Compensation
On-site role based in the Philadelphia and South Jersey area.Full-time employment.
$225000 base salary.
Comprehensive benefits package and 401(k).
20% annual bonus.
