Job Summary

Skills & experience
MUST: Proven experience delivering OFFSHORE projects including wellhead platform engineering management.
20 years of relevant engineering experience including 5 years as a Project Engineering Manager.
Strong understanding of cross discipline engineering sequencing interfaces execution and closeout.
Experience in cost estimating proposal writing budgeting and project controls.
Ability to lead diverse engineering teams across disciplines and manage execution in complex multicultural environments.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence present and collaborate at senior/executive levels.
Ability to manage complexity solve problems with sound judgment and drive decisions aligned with project plans.
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook Word Excel Teams and PowerPoint; functional awareness of integrated engineering tools and data centric methods.

Languages: English (advanced) Spanish (desirable).
Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering; leadership/project execution training required; professional license where legally required.

As an Offshore Project Engineering Manager youll guide cross discipline engineering and design for complex offshore facilitiesensuring safety quality and technical excellence while enabling our customers to deliver the resources society needs today and accelerate the transition to a lower carbon future.

Purpose of the role
In this role youll establish the engineering execution framework for an offshore wellhead platform leading multidisciplinary coordination across design planning quality procurement site support and project delivery. Youll ensure engineering outcomes are safe sustainable and aligned to schedule budget and regulatory expectationswhile supporting innovation and team development.

Core responsibilities
Business development support: Maintain updated technical profile; support proposal preparation including execution strategy estimating planning content development and customer presentations.
Business operations: Communicate resource and competency requirements; ensure coverage during absences; mentor and support team development; participate in performance reviews; ensure compliance with all requirements processes and HSE expectations.
Technical competency: Ensure adherence to engineering and design practices regulatory requirements and project specifications. Support standardization of specifications templates and deliverables. Drive peer reviews checking and incorporation of comments.
Project execution: Own the engineering plan and discipline scope/cost/time expectations; coordinate cross discipline engineering to meet project milestones; drive innovation and solutions that support out of sequence work; manage changes progress quality and performance.
Project deliverables: Facilitate data gathering and studies; support analyses calculations and documentation; evaluate technical issues and recommend solutions; review and approve deliverables from direct reports; ensure complete and accurate final documentation.
Procurement support: Ensure engineering information is included in specifications data sheets testing requirements and requisitions; facilitate bid clarifications evaluations and vendor information reviews.
Site support: Ensure constructability operability and maintainability are incorporated; coordinate with site teams to resolve issues; prepare documents supporting construction testing commissioning and handover; provide on site support when required.
