The Job:

As a Health and Safety Manager youll be part of our Operations team working as an on-site employee.

Youll get to:

• Lead health safety and hygiene initiatives within the plant to strengthen prevention practices and ensure compliance across manufacturing and support areas.
• Develop update and implement EHS policies procedures manuals instructions and protocols to prevent occupational risks across the site.
• Identify workplace hazards assess risks detect unsafe conditions and drive corrective and preventive actions in production and operational areas.
• Manage contractor safety activities ensuring compliance with internal safety requirements plant rules and applicable regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections in work areas to verify safe conditions identify hazards and follow up on action plans.
• Investigate incidents and accidents determine root causes prepare reports and implement corrective actions to avoid recurrence.
• Organize and lead training sessions workshops and drills related to safety hygiene emergency response and prevention for employees and contractors.
• Supervise the proper use availability and maintenance of personal protective equipment and other safety devices.
• Prepare reports statistics and KPIs related to accidents incidents occupational illnesses unsafe conditions and corrective actions.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and support compliance with ISO 9001 ISO 14001 ISO 45001 and other applicable EHS management system requirements.

You also have:

• Bachelors degree in engineering Industrial Safety Occupational Health or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Health & Safety EHS Industrial Safety or similar roles within manufacturing environments.
• Experience in high-risk manufacturing processes such as forging polishing metal-mechanical operations cutting presses CNC tooling maintenance or similar operations.
• Strong knowledge of machine safety contractor safety management risk identification unsafe condition detection and corrective action follow-up.
• Knowledge of local and state health and safety regulations experience with audits related to ISO 9001 ISO 14001 ISO 45001 and/or OHSAS and advanced English proficiency.
