We are looking for a Product Operations Manager at GLS/NXT to ensure our OOH parcel locker platform runs smoothly across our international GLS markets and partner this role you will be the go-to person for keeping the platform healthy - proactively monitoring operations investigating issues and responding to questions and requests from the carriers retailers and end users who rely on our locker network every day.
As Product Operations Manager you will work at the intersection of product tech and support acting as the connective tissue between our internal teams and the operators and partners who depend on our OOH platform. You will contribute to an integral part of GLS/NXT as an internal innovation division of GLS where we have the opportunity to build exceptional parcel locker solutions and create long-term relationships across our out-of-home delivery network.
This role is perfect for someone who is structured curious and motivated by making things work. Youre comfortable digging into operational issues across the locker estate translating user and operator needs into actionable insights for the product team and ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks.
Tasks
- Monitor the day-to-day health of our platform and ensure smooth uninterrupted product operations across all markets
- Support the Product Manager and broader product team with software delivery including contributing to team rituals and processes
- Coordinate investigation and resolution of questions requests and issues raised by internal and external users of the platform acting as a first point of contact and escalation bridge
- Identify recurring problems or patterns in user feedback and translate them into structured input for the product and tech teams
- Constantly improve operational processes and maintain clear documentation of processes known issues and resolution workflows
- Collaborate closely with product managers engineers and market teams to coordinate rapid responses to operational disruptions
- Support onboarding of new users and markets by ensuring operational readiness and smooth handovers
- Track and report on key operational metrics highlighting trends and areas for improvement
Requirements
- >2 years of experience in integration implementation technical project management or customer success management in B2B
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with a structured approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and cultures
- A low-ego hands-on mentality with a strong bias for getting things done
- Fundamental understanding of technical concepts (API system architecture or digital platform products)
- Business-level proficiency in English both written and spoken
- Permission to work in Germany
Nice to have
- Previous experience in logistics is a plus
- German language skills are welcome but not required
- Comfort working with tools like Jira Confluence or similar project tracking tools
