Full Stack Developer Lead with Python. Leading the business discussions training devs talking about best practices doing code reviews. Wont be doing people management.
Must be a senior person with around 15 years of experience who can work with business and IT teams. This is a fully hands-on development technical role. This does not involve any people management.

Must have financial services experience. We have portfolio management equity business. What rebalancing what portfolio optimization is.
Fixed income trading business etc.
They dont need to know the nitty gritty of it but need to be able to understand the industry as a whole.

Our apps 70% React 30% Angular - doesnt matter what the candidates have.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on full stack developer lead to join our Asset Management Investment Technology in Boston. This role will play a critical part in modernising and supporting core investment platforms with a focus on scalable cloud-based architecture full stack delivery and robust engineering practices.
You will work across investment technology stacks engage directly with global stakeholders across investment operations products and wider technology teams and help drive technology solutions that support portfolio management and trading. Exposure to ETFs and multi-asset platforms is a plus.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead technology delivery within a dynamic growth focused and collaborative global technology team while expanding your asset management domain expertise.

Key Responsibilities
Drive full stack application development using modern technologies across cloud-native and hybrid architectures
Design and implement scalable and APIs with strong security monitoring and logging frameworks
Develop rich UI components using framework such as React or Angular
Manage AWS based infrastructure components and CI/CD pipelines (CloudFormation Lambda ECS S3 RDS etc.)
Own the production environment operations and applications. Be responsible for reviewing and approving all change before it is deployed into your production environment.
Collaborate with business and product teams to shape requirements and translate them into technical specifications and delivery plan
Interface with vendors (e.g. Blackrock Aladdin Snowflake etc.) for issue resolution feature enhancements and to ensure robust system integration
Continuously seek automation opportunities to improve team efficiency

Essential Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field
10 years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a lead role
Strong command of full stack development: Javascript (React/Angular) or Java/.NET/ Python and SQL
Hands-on experience with AWS architecture and services (Glue Lambda API gateway IAM S3 CloudWatch etc.)
CI/CD tools: Jenkins Github Actions Terraform or CloudFormation
Strong API development and integration experience
Experience with testing frameworks (Jest Cypress Selenium)
Proven ability to led teams and drive cross-functional delivery in a matrix environment
Preferred Experience
Prior experience working in the Asset Management Investment Banking or Wealth Management
Knowledge of front office platform and workflows: OMS PMS and risk engines
Experience with ETF platforms and fund lifecycle processes
Familiarity with Snowflake Python and event driven architecture
Exposure to regulatory reporting ESG data pipelines or performance attribution systems
