Job Summary:
The Cath Lab Tech is responsible for assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. This role requires proficiency in scrubbing circulating and monitoring patients during procedures. The tech must be able to operate equipment maintain a sterile environment and ensure patient safety. On-call duties are required.
The Cath Lab Tech is responsible for assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. Location:Mission Viejo California United States
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Scrub circulate and monitor patients during procedures.
- Operate and troubleshoot equipment used in the cath lab.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the physician.
- Document procedures and patient information accurately.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- BLS certification
- Flouro Permit
- CA state license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- EP (Electrophysiology) experience

Special Considerations:
- On-call required 8 days per month.
- May be required to float to other facilities.
- Weekend work will exceed every other weekend.
- RTO (request time off) must be included at the time of submission.
- Facility is able to call off once per two week pay period.
