Job Summary

Lead complex Power BI semantic model and report redevelopment/refactoring efforts translating business logic/metrics from legacy BI into certified measures and reusable calculation groups
Design scalable datasets/semantic models (star schema best practices) implement advanced DAX patterns and optimize for performance refresh and query responsiveness on Snowflake-connected models.
Build and enforce development standards: naming conventions documentation measure store patterns incremental refresh strategy and workspace/app deployment conventions.
Implement CI/CD practices for Power BI artifacts (models/reports) including version control alignment environment promotion and automated checks as part of industrialized delivery.
Partner with data modelers and SMEs to define lineage-backed mappings semantic-to-report relationships and ensure solution aligns to governance/certification requirements.

Provide technical leadership-code reviews troubleshooting root-cause analysis for data/logic defects and coaching mid-level developers.
