| Job Title: Okta Administrator / Identity Access Engineer
Location: Richmond VA (Onsite 2 3 days per week)
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Job Overview
We are seeking an Okta Administrator / Identity Access Engineer to support the management and administration of a large Okta environment with over 150 integrated applications. This role will focus on Okta administration SSO configuration access management and infrastructure automation using Terraform. The ideal candidate will have experience managing enterprise identity environments and automating access management processes.
Key Responsibilities - Administer and maintain the Okta Identity and Access Management platform supporting 150 applications.
- Configure and support Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations across enterprise applications.
- Manage Okta groups roles and access policies to ensure proper user access and security.
- Perform user access provisioning and deprovisioning in alignment with security and compliance requirements.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform to manage Okta configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve authentication SSO and identity-related issues.
- Support application onboarding into Okta including configuration testing and documentation.
- Work with security and engineering teams to maintain identity governance and access controls.
Required Qualifications - 3 years of experience with Okta administration in an enterprise environment.
- Experience managing SSO integrations (SAML OAuth OpenID Connect).
- 3 years of Terraform experience managing identity or infrastructure configurations.
- Experience administering Okta groups roles and access policies.
- Experience supporting environments with large numbers of integrated applications.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management best practices.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Okta Lifecycle Management or Okta Workflows.
- Experience integrating Okta with cloud environments (AWS Azure or GCP).
- Okta certification (Okta Certified Administrator or similar).
- Experience with automation or scripting (Python Bash PowerShell).
