| Competencies: 8 years experience required AI and Automation Role Description: Architect and evolve the internal developer platform including: o Golden paths and service templates o Standardized build/test/deploy workflows o CICD consumption patterns with embedded policy enforcement o Environment provisioning and automation pipelines Design reusable platform components that improve reliability repeatability and scalability. Define workflow orchestration patterns and automation guardrails. Review infrastructure-as-code implementations and enforce consistency standards. Establish structured logging metrics and telemetry patterns across platform services. Design automation frameworks that support safe controlled execution at scale. Improve workflow reliability through o Observability instrumentation o Log aggregation and analysis o Failure-mode design and retry patterns Standardize scripting and automation practices (PowerShell Python or similar). Implement platform guardrails that enforce security compliance and operational constraints. Reduce manual operational toil through systematic automation. Architect governed access to AI services and models in production environments. Define routing execution and observability patterns for AI-driven workflows. Embed security policy and compliance controls into AI integration pathways. Design API contracts and service boundaries for AI consumption. Ensure production readiness monitoring cost controls usage governance and reliability. Hands-on experience integrating enterprise AI solutions (e.g. copilots LLM-backed services internal APIs) into delivery pipelines is essential. Candidate should be hands-on and architecture-driven to assist in the architecture implementation and operational ownership of clients internal developer platform enterprise automation systems AI enablement infrastructure and Microsoft identity/collaboration ecosystem. Closely work with cross functional teams to design scalable systems define platform standards review implementations and improve reliability across CICD workflow orchestration AI integration and enterprise identity services. This role requires strong technical depth design mindset and the ability to dive into implementation details. Demonstrated experience building or operating internal developer platforms.
