Our restaurant Host and Utility role helps us ensure a Remarkable experience for all of our dine-in guests.

The Host and Utility role plays a vital part in maintaining a clean safe and welcoming environment for our guests. This position is primarily focused on dining room utilities ensuring the restaurant remains spotless organized and operating addition this role supports the guest experience by providing friendly hospitality through greeting guest engagement and overall dining room attentiveness.

Job opportunities as Host / Utilities are generally offered as part time restaurant jobs with some limited full time opportunities.

Prior experience as a host utility or restaurant crew member/team member is not required but is preferred.

The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards while delivering warm genuine service with a positive attitude.

Applicants will also be expected to be able to work on their feet for several hours at a time.

Utilities / Dining Room Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean safe and organized dining room at all times
• Clear and sanitize tables chairs and surrounding areas promptly
• Sweep and mop dining room floors and vestibule areas
• Open/close the dining room
• Clean and sanitize guest trays and tray return areas
• Remove trash from the dining room and facility
• Load and operate the baler to consolidate boxes and remove them from the restaurant
• Support dishwashing as needed
• Clean windows entryways and high-touch surfaces
• Sweep exterior areas including sidewalks and parking lot
• Assist with overall cleanliness and stocking throughout the restaurant as directed

Host / Guest Experience Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with eye contact and a genuine smile
• Provide a welcoming first impression upon guest arrival
• Check in with guests throughout their visit to ensure satisfaction
• Refresh beverages as needed
• Clear trays and dispose of trash for guests in a timely manner
• Maintain awareness of dining room flow and guest needs
• Uphold brand standards for hospitality and professionalism
• Stock and maintain condiment counters restroom and dining room supplies
• Routinely check clean and fully stock restrooms maintaining high standards of cleanliness safety and presentation
