Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our this role the RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice. The nurse will work under the supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess identify and address patients physical psychological and social needs.
Full-time part-time and PRN positions are available with day evening and night shifts offered. This position is located in Waynesboro MD.
Associates degree in Nursing required.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland.
Current tuberculosis (TB) documentation.
Active BLS/CPR certification.
Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Minimum of one year of RN experience preferred ideally in a community outpatient clinic hospital or long-term care setting.
Prior corrections or correctional healthcare experience preferred.
