Location: Syracuse NY
Duration: 14 Weeks
Compensation:
Local Rate: $2287.50/week (Negotiable based on experience)
- Travel Rate: $2651.50/week (Negotiable based on experience)

Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support an Ambulatory Hematology/Oncology clinic within a leading healthcare facility. This role involves providing triage patient education and clinical support in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong hematology/oncology experience excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with patients families and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
Perform triage and clinical assessments for hematology/oncology patients
Coordinate patient care and assist providers with follow-ups and treatment plans
Educate patients and families on medications treatment plans and self-care practices
Accurately document patient information in electronic medical records
Deliver patient care with minimal supervision
Collaborate with nursing staff providers and administrative teams to support high-quality patient care
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license New York State
BLS Certification
Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience in a comparable healthcare setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal orientation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records
Prior outpatient hematology/oncology experience
Experience working in a high-acuity hospital environment
