To drive profitable international growth by developing launching and managing franchise operations across global markets while ensuring brand consistency operational excellence and strong franchisee relationships. Thie role leads the operation (commercial marketing and supply) for 2 franchise partners (Middle East and Indonesia). It also leads market distribution (Thailand New Zealand Malaysia Norway & Netherlands). The role is required to drive the area into growth to enable expansion in the future which is a key strategic priority of the new ownership. Due to poor performance in the franchise partners the in year focus of the role is to create and drive a turnaround strategy with both franchise partners influencing franchisee organisations at the most senior levels leading all contractual conversations negotiations and creative direction whilst leading a change programme within the Boots business.
Driving global business strategy for sustainable revenue growth leading operating costs and finding incremental opportunities in markets and business plans
Leading across geographies and cultures to reset the Boots brand proposition in both markets to align with strengths and direction of travel in Boots UK including launch of a new concept in the Middle East (incremental to previous job holder)
Driving the acceleration brand consistency and execution of No7 and Soap & Glory within these markets (incremental to previous job holder)
Financial oversight of the P&L (owned by job holder) budgeting forecasting and understanding of fee structures
Leading the process of JBPs optimising market plans and business commitments across all partners
Driving synergies across BUK Boots Ireland Thailand and the partners in business knowledge supplier relationships and resource allocation (part incremental to previous job holder)
Optimising the operating model reducing cost and complexity from business models
Ensuring compliance to local regulatory requirements and legal
Leading global networking to find new opportunities for growth in the future
