Roles and Responsibilites
Develops and cultivates relationships with the MRO Component Repair Product Line Ops MRO Operations Repair & Material Channels G/CBSAs RSPs Premier MROs ID&B Systems and Services engineering leaders to prioritize and influence support to meet MRO delivery needs
Is a liaison between Services Engineering ID&B Product Line Systems MRO and Quality
Facilitates Services engineering integration into PL processes as a sponsor on PCB and systems rhythms
Serves as a two-way communication channel between Services Engineering and MRO focusing on delivery challenges
Supports engine level DRs New Module level limits or extensions USM & NSMR salvation New/Revised Repairs PCRs.
Manages escalations and responds to status requests allowing engineers to focus on task execution
Drives challenging technical issue resolution by leveraging network experience and expertise
Demonstrates in depth knowledge of processes clear & proactive thinking and utilizes influence & horizontal collaboration to drive outcomes
Drives high complexity projects and provides leadership to solve complex cross-discipline problems
Provides technical consultation across organizations engaging people from other departments divisions and functions
Collaborate with Services Engineering ID&B PL Operations and Systems to address engineering support funding and HC needs as well as improve resource efficiency
Drives strategic proactive efforts with shops airlines partners and MRO.
Leads continuous improvements of relevant processes
Provide technical leadership for a team of engineers for all product design aspects of the assigned system
Mentor and develop less experienced personnel
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in Engineering
Strong mechanical design and analytical background
Familiarity with engineering processes and procedures related to manufacturing support
Ability to drive projects to completion
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects through influence
Ability to document plan market and execute programs
Established project management skills
