What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and contractors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings common areas loading areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and respond to requests for assistance including directing visitors verifying credentials as required and reporting suspicious activity per site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalating disturbances when appropriate and contacting emergency services and/or site leadership as needed.
• Complete detailed written reports and daily activity logs document incidents and communicate relevant information to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
