In partnership with our client we are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer who believes that design is more than aesthetics it is a way of connecting with people telling stories and building community. This is a role for someone with a sharp eye for visual storytelling and a genuine passion for creating work that resonates with women of color. You will work alongside a creative fast-paced team dedicated to science-backed skincare supporting the Lead Graphic Designer in bringing the brand to life across social media retail and events. Your Responsibilities
Social Media and amp; Digital Design
- You will assist in designing engaging graphics for Instagram TikTok email campaigns WhatsApp broadcasts and the website.
- You will create carousels product highlights infographics promo banners and animated assets that are visually compelling and on-brand.
Retail Visual Support
- You will support the development of retail display elements including shelf strips wobblers pop-up signage and in-store merchandising visuals that stand out on shelf.
Event Collateral
- You will design materials for brand and community events such as posters affirmation cards backdrops invites and merchandise all aligned with our aesthetic and tone.
Content Adaptation
- You will adapt master designs for different sizes formats and regional or local variations maintaining visual integrity and brand consistency across every execution.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- You will work closely with the Lead Graphic Designer Social Media Manager Creator Partnerships Manager and Videographer to develop and refine visual assets for campaigns and launches.
Brand Stewardship
- You will ensure all designs follow brand guidelines across tone typography colours and visual identity contributing to a cohesive look and feel across all channels.
Creative Brainstorming
- You will bring fresh ideas to team brainstorms and actively contribute to concepting sessions for new product launches social series and campaign executions.
What Success looks like
- Visual assets are delivered on time on brief and consistently aligned with brand guidelines across all platforms and formats.
- Social media and digital designs contribute to measurable improvements in engagement rates across Instagram TikTok and email campaigns.
- Retail and event collateral is well-received visually strong and reflective of the brand in every market it appears in.
- Cross-functional collaborators consistently rate the quality and timeliness of design support as excellent.
- Creative contributions to brainstorms and concepting sessions are recognised as valuable with ideas regularly making it into final campaign executions.
- Growth is visible over time with increasing ownership of briefs and an expanding body of work that reflects clear creative development.
To be considered for this role you should have
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design Visual Communication or a related creative field.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling ability across digital and print formats.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator Photoshop and InDesign; motion or animation skills are a plus.
- Experience or familiarity with designing for social media platforms including Instagram and TikTok.
- A solid understanding of brand guidelines and the ability to apply them consistently across different formats and channels.
- Strong attention to detail time management and the ability to manage multiple briefs simultaneously.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to receive and act on creative feedback constructively.
