General Assembly Industrial Process Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Process Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Focus:

- Develop improve and sustain manufacturing processes.

- Support equipment installation validation and troubleshooting.

- Lead process documentation including PFMEA control plans and process flow diagrams.

- Ensure compliance with safety and ergonomic requirements.

- Conduct time & motion studies balance lines and optimize manpower allocation.

- Develop and maintain standardized work work instructions and labor models.

- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement productivity improvements.

- Lead layout changes using lean principles.

- Support capacity planning and resource modeling.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Industrial Electronics Mechanical Engineering or related field or relevant experience.

- 25 years of experience in manufacturing operations (automotive preferred).

- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing.

- Experience with time studies standardized work and line balancing.

- Strong problem-solving skills.

- Intermediate English level capable of holding a conversation.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in General Assembly / automotive components.

- Knowledge of MES systems and digital manufacturing tools.

- Experience leading improvement projects.

- Knowledge of ergonomics and safety design.

-Six Sigma and Green Belt certification.

-APS system knowledge.
