Location: Meadowcroft Shoreham-On-Sea
Salary: 12.85 per hour (annual review)
Weekend Rate: 13.35 per hour
Hours: 36 hours per week fixed working pattern 8pm - 8am (Monday Friday and Saturday)


About Us

Meadowcroft Care Home in Shoreham is a 20-bed residential care home providing high-quality person-centred care for older adults. Our home specialises in supporting residents living with dementia as well as providing palliative care and respite care in a warm homely environment.


Our home offers a wide range of engaging daily activities from traditional Sunday roast dinners to summer BBQs in the garden. We believe in working hard and celebrating life alongside our residents. Whether its enjoying local day trips or welcoming family and friends for tea and cake there are always opportunities to connect and create special moments together. Experienced Night Care Assistant Previous experience in a care home setting

About the Role


As aNight Care Assistant you will play a key role in ensuring residents are safe comfortable and well cared for throughout the night.


Your responsibilities will include:

Providing personal care and support to residents promoting dignity independence and respect
Conducting regular night checks to ensure residents safety and wellbeing
Supporting residents with mobility toileting and repositioning where required
Administering medication in line with training and care plans
Monitoring residents health and wellbeing and reporting any concerns promptly
Offering reassurance and emotional support to residents who may feel anxious or unsettled during the night
Maintaining accurate care records and night reports
Ensuring the home remains clean safe and secure during night hours
Working collaboratively with the night team and management to provide consistent high-quality care
