SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST SPECIAL EDUCATION ESY (Position is open to FUESD EMPLOYEES only)

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is accepting applications for a SpeechLanguage Pathologist for the 2026 Extended School Year (ESY) Special Education Program. Recruitment is open to current FUESD-contractedSpeech Language Pathologists. Staff will be selected based on program needs and their daily availability to work the duration of theassignment.

DETAILS FOR THIS POSITION:

OPEN TO INTERNAL CURRENT FUESD EMPLOYEES ONLY

• APPLICATION DEADLINE: March 20 2026- 4:00 p.m.
• LENGTHOF WORK PERIOD: 1 Mandatory Staff Meeting/Prep Day on Monday June 1 2026 and 19 Instructional Days: Monday-Friday beginning Tuesday June 2 2026 - June 29 2026- Except for 6/19- it is a non-work day.
• WORK SITES: Fallbrook Stem Academy San Onofre Mike Choate Center
• WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 5.0 hours/day 7:30 am - 12:30 pm. Time varies per
  site.
• SALARY: 1 Staff Meeting/Prep Day paid at $62.00/hourly rate 19 instructional days at
  $310.00 per day (based on 5.0 hours/day).
• REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING:Current/valid Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential w/Language Speech and Hearing. Staff will be selected based on program needs. Previous experience in ESY is preferred. Priority will be given to employees working all days of the ESY summer program.
• EXPECTATIONS:To provide a schedule that incorporates the design elements of course descriptions for the assigned classes; to be in attendance and on time for the duration of the program; to provide small group large group and one-on-one instruction; to maintain an environment conducive to learning with clear rules expectations and consequences for inappropriate behavior; to perform all duty assignments as requested; to perform appropriate documentation on student progress including pre/post assessments as well as fill out progress reports with proper documentation.
