Role Overview
The Account Manager drives new revenue by consulting with customers on infrared heating solutions and owning the full sales cyclefrom lead qualification through post-sale experience.
This role is accountable for consistently generating and closing new business. While primarily responsible for converting warm inbound leads the Account Manager is also expected to contribute to new opportunity generation through follow-up referrals and light outbound efforts.
Responsibilities include identifying upsell opportunities within the existing customer base promoting referral and incentive programs securing product reviews communicating sales and promotions supporting customers when needed and coordinating a seamless handoff to internal teams and vendor partners to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Over time this role may evolve to include sales process optimization or team leadership as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
Own inbound and outbound sales conversations via phone email and video
Qualify leads and uncover customer needs across residential and commercial applications
Educate prospects on infrared heating technology and product benefits
Prepare estimates specifications and proposals
Close deals and consistently achieve individual revenue targets
Maintain a strong healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities
Sales Process Ownership
Manage opportunities from first contact through signed agreement
Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility
Follow and continuously improve defined sales processes
Collaborate with operations and fulfillment teams to ensure clean handoff post-sale
Market & Relationship Development
Build rapport and credibility with key buyer profiles (gym and yoga studio owners architects designers contractors electricians homeowners)
Identify patterns objections and insights from sales conversations to improve messaging and conversion
Represent the voice of the customer back to the business
Systems & Team Collaboration
Accurately document all sales activity in CRM systems
Maintain high responsiveness and professionalism in a fully remote environment
Participate in training coaching and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Attributes
24 year degree in business or related field
25 years experience in both inbound and outbound sales with direct closing responsibility
Proven success in a sales-focused role; comfortable owning a number and being accountable to results
Strong consultative selling discovery and presentation skills
Clear confident communicator (written and verbal)
Organized disciplined and effective in a remote environment
Team-oriented with a track record of collaboration accountability and goal achievement
High integrity strong work ethic and bias toward action
Self-motivated competitive and resilient with a positive growth-oriented mindset
Detail-oriented with high proficiency working with numbers
Proficient in MS Office or equivalent tools
Bonus Experience (Not Required)
Experience with CRM systems or custom sales software
Technical or solution-based selling experience
Electrical construction or building-related industry exposure
