Compensation
Local Rate: $2362.50 per week
Travel Rate: $2635.50 per week
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in an acute care hospital setting. The MRI Technologist will perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures for both inpatient and outpatient populations. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality imaging maintain patient safety and work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MRI scans including chest abdomen pelvis head (with and without contrast) spine and musculoskeletal trauma imaging
Prepare and administer contrast media and initiate peripheral IVs as required
Follow infection control and isolation protocols in accordance with hospital standards
Operate MRI imaging equipment from various manufacturers such as Philips Siemens and Toshiba
Utilize PACS systems and document imaging procedures accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
Float to other qualified units based on patient census and departmental needs
Required Qualifications
ARRT (MR) Certification Required
BLS Certification Required
Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience in an acute care or outpatient setting
Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with adult and pediatric patient populations
Experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers
Familiarity with multiple MRI platforms and advanced imaging techniques
