Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department (ER)
Location: Syracuse NY
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Compensation
Local Rate: Up to $2173.50/week (based on experience)
- Travel Rate: Up to $2518/week (based on experience)
Shift & Schedule
Night Shift
3 shifts per week
12.5-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
37.5 hours per week
Every other weekend required
Some holidays required
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced emergency care team in a large acute care hospital. The RN will deliver high-quality care to both adult and pediatric patients performing rapid assessments and ensuring timely treatment in a dynamic emergency environment.
The ideal candidate is a strong clinical professional who can work efficiently under pressure and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
Provide emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients
Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to emergencies
Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record system
Maintain patient safety and follow hospital policies and clinical best practices
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license New York State
BLS certification
Minimum 1.5 years of recent Emergency Department experience in an acute care hospital
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
Experience caring for both adult and pediatric emergency patients
