DescriptionPosition Summary:
As a Clinical Nurse III in our Non-Invasive Cardiology department at Cedars-Sinai you will be integral in delivering exceptional nursing care to patients with a range of cardiovascular conditions. Utilizing your advanced clinical skills and knowledge you will assess plan implement and evaluate care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing non-invasive cardiology procedures including TEEs Cardioversions and stress tests.
- - Conduct thorough patient assessments including acquiring medical histories vital signs and interpreting diagnostic results effectively.
- - Prepare patient for procedure assist Physicians during procedure and recover patients after the procedure.
- - Collaborate closely with cardiologists and healthcare providers to develop personalized care plans ensuring the best possible patient outcomes.
- - Assist in the coordination and execution of non-invasive cardiology procedures while upholding a safe and sterile environment.
- - Mentor and support junior nursing staff fostering their professional growth and development.
- - Engage in quality improvement initiatives research projects and clinical trials aimed at enhancing patient care in cardiology.
QualificationsQualifications:
- - Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- -Specialty Certification (Or within one year of hire)
- - Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience with at least 2 years in a cardiology Emergency Room or critical care setting.
- -Prior procedural area experience preferred
- - Proficient knowledge of cardiology and cardiac diagnostic procedures.
- - ACLS certification required.
- - Strong critical thinking communication and interpersonal skills.
- - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
