Job Summary
1ST TIMERS - Charge EXP MS/Tele RN - Req 10139 Will position float between units: No Is on-call required No Are weekends required Yes 6 weekend shifts per schedule period. Are block schedules required No What are expected ratios 1:6 Special requirements: The assigned nurse must be able to function as a fully independent staff nurse with a standard patient ratio of 1:6. In addition the nurse should be capable of assuming Charge Nurse responsibilities as needed and must be able to function in the charge nurse role independently. The unit provides care for patients ranging from 1 month of age through end of life so broad clinical competency is essential. Current ACLS BLS and PALS certifications are required.
