Job Description
A SAP Emarsys BTP CX (Customer Experience) professional is typically responsible for implementing configuring and managing the SAP Emarsys marketing automation platform often integrating it with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) SAP Commerce Cloud and Customer Data Platforms (CDP) to drive personalized omnichannel customer journeys.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Implementation & Configuration: Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP Emarsys including system configuration setting up API integrations and ensuring data flows smoothly from back-end ERP/CRM systems to the CX platform.
- Marketing Automation & Strategy: Configure and deploy Tactics (pre-built automation workflows) within the Emarsys Automation Center for personalized marketing such as email SMS push notifications and web campaigns.
- Data Integration & Management: Utilize SAP BTP and connectors to integrate Emarsys with SAP Customer Data Cloud (CDC) SAP CDP and SAP Commerce Cloud to create a 360-degree customer view.
- Segmentation & Personalization: Leverage AI-driven tools within Emarsys to segment customers based on behavioral data purchase history and demographics to deliver highly relevant content.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor campaign performance track revenue attribution and generate reports on KPIs (open rates click-through rates conversion rates) to optimize marketing strategies.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Debug integration issues manage data imports/exports and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR/CCPA).
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 4 years in marketing automation with hands-on experience in SAP Emarsys SAP Marketing Cloud or similar platforms.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript and working with RESTful APIs OAuth and JSON/CSV data structures.
- SAP Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAP CX solutions (Commerce Cloud Customer Data Cloud/Platform) and BTP integration capabilities.
