Youll work collaboratively with a team of skilled professionals to deliver exceptional medical services while adhering to best practices and hospital protocols.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients during labor and delivery
- Perform assessments diagnoses and medical procedures as needed
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Monitor patient progress and respond to complications
- Educate patients and families about labor and delivery processes
- Ensure compliance with medical regulations and standards
- Document all patient interactions and care provided
- Participate in departmental meetings and continuous education
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Indiana
- Board certification in Ob/Gyn or eligibility
- Experience in labor and delivery settings
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Commitment to patient-centered care
Schedule: 12 or 24-hour in-house call shifts
Annual Volume: 1800 deliveries
Support Staff: CNMs
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
