Department Description:
Columbia Pictures is a film studio and film distributor that is a division Sony Pictures. Theglobally oriented studio has produced and financed some of the industrys most notable franchises including Spider-Man Jumanji Bad Boys Peter Rabbit MenInBlack Ghostbusters and Venom.
Responsibilities:
Assistingwith general administrative tasks phone coverage
Preparing and reviewing pitch materials running occasional errands and contributing creatively whenappropriate.
Work closely with executive assistants and other team members to support day-to-day operations
Creatingbook reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
Available to work in-office Monday through Friday
Must have prior internships at production companies/studios
Proactive organized and able to manage shifting priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
Passionate about film
Comfortable handling sensitive or confidential information with discretion
Strong communicationskills both written and verbal
Willing toassistwith a range of tasks from creative input to administrative support
Familiarity with Mac/PC systems and basic programs like Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint
